About Us
Friendly SEED, short for Friendly toward Sustainable Environmental Education Development, is a social enterprise committed to innovating and advancing environmental education (EE) services.
Founded in August 2010 by a group of passionate professionals, Friendly SEED began with the intention of planting “friendly seeds” in the field of environmental education. With a strong belief in the power of education to inspire action, we strive to spread the tools and ideas of sustainability, empowering individuals and communities to create meaningful environmental and social change.

1. Corporate Sustainability Services
We are practitioners of environmental education and partners in corporate sustainability.
In an era where more than half of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are related to the environment and education, and where corporate ESG responsibilities are gaining increasing attention, we believe that environmental education is not only a key driver of environmental sustainability, but also a powerful bridge that connects people and inspires action.

Grounded in the TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) framework, we design action-based programs across five dimensions: land, ocean, freshwater, atmosphere, and society. These programs support governments, businesses, and communities in taking tangible actions such as removing invasive species, cleaning up pollution, and participating in climate initiatives.

With over 15 years of experience in talent development, operational planning, and consulting services, Friendly SEED has supported more than 20+ site certifications and delivered professional training to over 23,000+ participants. We offer comprehensive, one-stop empowerment and acceleration services tailored to environmental educators and learning sites.

1) Site Consulting
We provide one-stop support for managing and enhancing environmental education sites. Services include resource inventory, risk analysis, curriculum and material design, facility planning, operational strategy, marketing, human resource management, and ongoing consulting. Project-based services can also be customized to meet specific needs.

Our training programs cover both hard and soft skills essential for environmental educators—from foundational theory, environmental literacy, and curriculum design, to teaching methods, professional growth, and mindset development distilled from years of frontline experience. Why It Matters
In January 2022, Friendly SEED earned the internationally recognized B Corporation Certification, joining a global community of businesses committed to meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

Our International connections
In addition to cultivating environmental education in Taiwan, we actively expand our international engagement.
In 2017, 2019, and 2024, our team presented Taiwan’s environmental education cases at the World Environmental Education Congress (WEEC). In 2025, our submission was also accepted by the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) Annual Conference.
Furthermore, an environmental education case from Shoushan National Nature Park implemented by our team was featured in Outdoor Environmental Education in the Contemporary World, published by the renowned academic publisher Springer in 2023.
